Privacy Policy

This policy explains what data 4chamba collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. We collect only what we need to match you with jobs and to operate the service.

Account data such as your email address. Profile data you provide or that we extract from your CV, which can include your skills, experience, target roles, salary expectations, location, and work authorization. Usage data such as match runs and feedback you submit. Recruiters also provide company and job details.

We use your data to parse your CV, run job matches, generate insights, operate your account, process subscriptions, and improve the service. We do not sell your personal data.

Passwords are stored as one way hashes (argon2). Sensitive profile fields are encrypted at rest. Authentication uses secure, http only session cookies. Access to your data is restricted to your own account. You cannot access other users' data, and administrative access is limited and logged.

Payments are processed by a trusted third-party payment provider acting as merchant of record. We share only what is needed to complete a purchase and never store full card details. When you opt in to be discoverable by recruiters, recruiters see only anonymized professional information. Your full profile is revealed only when you and a recruiter mutually match. We may share data with service providers that help us operate, or when required by law.

You can view and edit your profile, control recruiter visibility, request a copy of your data, and delete your account at any time, which removes your associated data. To exercise these rights, use the controls in your account or contact us.

We use a single essential session cookie to keep you logged in. We do not use third party advertising cookies.
